The Ultimate Prank
Let’s start with the obvious one.
Pranking someone.
Our Cutouts are basically professional grade jump scares. Got a friend who hates horror films? Put a terrifying character behind their bedroom door. Have someone coming home late? Position a Cutout somewhere they absolutely aren’t expecting it.
Want to make your family question whether they’ve accidentally walked into a horror movie? Just move the Cutout around the house every few days.
And that’s the best part.
You don’t even have to tell them you’ve moved it. Today it’s in the living room. Tomorrow it’s at the top of the stairs. Three days later, it’s sitting at the dinner table.
At this point, the Cutout isn’t even the scary part. It’s the fact that nobody knows where it’s going to appear next.
Just a few weeks ago, I got a Ryan Gosling Cutout, I then proceeded to have it follow my dad around the house. Why?
Because I’m funny… and slightly evil.
Seriously, every time he left the room, I would put it just beyond the doorway so it would be right there when he walked through. We have a patio with glass doors leading out onto it, and he went to sit outside, so I put it right against the glass.
This also caused a sub-prank… I guess you could call it that? One of my cats saw the person standing at the door, thought it was me, and kept shouting at it to let her in. 😂
Eventually, the Cutout found its way into his bed, which scared him one last time until he made sure that I got it back. Now we’re just counting down the days until I strike again!
Okay, so now imagine that with one that is actually scary…
Yeah, it could be great to watch. 👀
An Office Prank?
Now, this one is daring. It could either go really well and you prank your work best friend, or you could prank the Managing Director of the company, and that is a gamble I… am willing to take.
Here at the Celebrity Cutouts office, we are obviously in an office building. However, what you won’t know is that there are many other companies that work in the same building as us. All of us share the same bathrooms.
Believe it or not, those bathrooms have showers…
I think you can see where I’m going with this. 👀
So, being the Cardboard Cutout company in the building and armed with the knowledge that people actually use the showers here, we hatched a devious plan. Get a Cardboard Cutout from our Halloween collection and silently stick it up behind one of the curtains.
Of course, being adults, we took it away before anyone said anything…
Is what I would say if we actually took it away.
We left it there until we heard someone complain about it. 😂
A day later, we heard about it. Luckily, it wasn’t the Managing Director; it was someone from one of the other businesses, and they were a good sport about it.
But deep down, I wish we had got to hear the reaction to that. 👻
